We are a small family business offering a personal service to groups of between eight and twelve people looking for lavish cooking presented hospitably and without fuss.

Moored in the picturesque setting of the Union canal at Harrison Park between Shandon and Polwarth, just minutes from the city centre, our elegant narrowboat restaurant provides a refreshing year round alternative.

Whether for business lunch, romantic dinner or family celebration, a unique and memorable occasion is guaranteed.

Zazou is a unique private floating dining saloon in which your party can relax and celebrate.

Enjoy cruising through the changing seasons-from the snowbound icy canal reaches of winter to the overhanging blossoms of spring, abundant summer wildlife and autumn glories. Sit out at the front between courses with a glass of wine and watch the wildlife and changing scenery flow past.

We have central heating and floodlighting so you can enjoy the view of the canal in the darkest months in perfect comfort.

We generally cruise westwards to Slateford then into town to Viewforth, then back to the mooring. We can also pick up and drop passengers off at Edinburgh Quay.
